The Celestix WSA4000 enables medium-sized companies to deploy cost effective remote and extranet access, as well as intranet/internet security and web acceleration. The WSA4000 is a preconfigured, purpose-built IP security platform running Microsoft Internet Access Gateway Server 2007. Appliance Platform

The WSA4000 is based on a robust Celestix 1U rack hardware platform, producing an extremely fast and efficient appliance with a powerful Intel® Pentium® D Dual-Core class CPU running in excess of 2.8GHz, 2GB of RAM and 80GB of hard drive. The Celestix WSA4000 has six auto-sensing 100/1000 ethernet ports adding a degree of versatility not commonly found in a security appliance.

Secure Access

The WSA is a comprehensive, high-performance application access and security appliance designed to help balance the tensions between security, application functionality and broad access. With the benefits of both a network-layer firewall (Microsoft® Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006) and a full SSL VPN, the WSA delivers a policy-driven framework that unifies endpoint security, application access and access control in a highly-scalable platform to satisfy the demands of large-scale and complex environments.

WSA4000 comes bundled with 10 user licenses and can scale to 2,500 number of users on a single appliance, supporting up to 64 high-availability nodes in a single array, and enables administrators to define complex authentication schemas, session residue shredding configurations and custom endpoint compliance requirements. The platform supports multiple portals on a single gateway, enabling administrators to customize the user experience and create specific policy configurations for each portal.
