RSA SecurID Ready

Celestix RAS3000 is RSA SecurID ready. RSA is the world leader in two-factor authentication and secure computing. Their SecurID technology ensures user integrity by requesting something known (a user-specific PIN) with something held (a unique one time password based on time syncronization). When used in conjunction with RSA SecurID, the RAS3000 offers a significant and unique solution for SecurID users:

• The RAS3000 generates an executable (called a connectoid) that can be used to configure the intrinsic Windows VPN client. With the RSA Secured RAS3000, the RSA Agent can actually be bundled with this executable. To an end user, there is no need to install two separate executables, thus eliminating a potentially confusing step. From an IT administrators perspective, this also lessens the complexity normally associated with RSA client deployment.
  

• In addition, the connectoid will automatically configure the VPN client to require SecurID. In essence, there is no configuration required for an end user after installation of the executable.
  

• There are no extra costs associated with bundling the RSA EAP Agent and the connectoid. Some vendors charge an additional fee to provide this functionality.
