 MSA3000 is a high performance line of Microsoft ISA appliances from Celestix®. Capable of gigabit-per-second throughput, it provides the reliability with maximum uptime and 1U port density that demanding, high-speed networks require. It's powerful, yet easy to deploy and manage using Celestix intuitive Web interface, the front panel jog dial and the backlit LCD.
The MSA3000 features a backlit LCD panel (40 x 2 character) with an integrated dial control that allows the administrator to configure network parameters and begin securing the network within 15 minutes. The LCD also provides critical information and allows users to install security updates, or change the configuration of the appliance. The MSA3000 can be managed locally via a standard web browser or centrally through Microsoft ISA Server Enterprise Edition.
The MSA3000 is based on a robust Celestix 1U rack hardware platform, producing an extremely fast and efficient appliance with a maximum of 1.2Gbps of firewall throughput and 80Mbps of 3DES VPN throughput. To achieve such speed, the MSA3000 uses a powerful Intel® Pentium® 4 class CPU running in excess of 3.0GHz, 2GB of RAM and 80GB of hard drive. The Celestix MSA3000 has six auto-sensing 100/1000 ethernet ports adding a degree of versatility not commonly found in a security appliance.
