Celestix Networks is a fast growing, privately held enterprise security appliance vendor offering a broad range of ready-to-deploy security appliances and turnkey security solutions. Celestix currently has a great opportunity for a Web Developer to work in a dynamic and evolving environment at their Fremont, California location. This position will support public facing and internal marketing/sales initiatives. Applicants should be highly technical with strong experience in Microsoft-based web programming technologies. |
| Responsibilities: |
- Maintain the Celestix.com website with occasional updates and facilitate internal posting requests.
- Design and creation of a new website to facilitate Celestix resellers and channel partners. This will include registration and controlled processes by which to access collateral, providing a mechanism for instant sales/support help and facilitating marketing fund requests.
- Design and creation of a new website to facilitate common processes between Celestix and its technology partners. This will include registration/authentication, RMA tracking, PO submission, inventory management and reporting functions.
- Developing/maintaining web-based solutions for support on an ad-hoc basis including support renewals, ticket tracking and knowledge base.
- Maintain an electronic mailing list and email engine for sending periodic newsletters to channel partners and customers.
- Organize the Celestix intranet and act as a liaison for posting requests.

| Requirements and Qualifications: |
- 2 to 3 years working experience in a corporate or small company Web programming function with a focus Microsoft technologies.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Actual work experience will weigh more than a degree.

| Technical Skills: |
- Experience with web programming technologies including: HTML, XML, ASP/ASP.Net, Javascript, VBScript, AJAX and IIS.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and database protocols/programming.
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN and networking environments.
- Experience with applications in a Microsoft networked environment such as Active Directory, DDNS/DHCP, Exchange, etc.
- The ability to configure, install, upgrade and maintain Intel servers and their respective system software environments.

| Preferred Qualifications: |
- Knowledge of Web development with Salesforce.com Web services APIs and AppExchange.
- Experience in user interface design and image editing.
- Prior experience with Adobe Flash and ActionScript a plus.
